Tonk! Cricket

Tonk! Cricket: Privacy Policy

Effective: 23 October 2026

Tonk! Cricket ("the game") is made by Muppet Dev ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

1. Information stored on your device

The game saves your careers, settings, records and progress on your device, including any names you type into the game (for example, your player's name). This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Phone backup: if your phone's Google backup is turned on, Android may include the game's saves in that backup, so they can be restored when you set up a new phone. This backup is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Ads in the game are optional. You choose to watch a rewarded ad in return for in-game match tickets. There are no banner ads and no ads you are forced to watch.

The ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect and process information from your device, such as:

Google uses this information to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud.

Your choices:

Ads in the game are limited to content suitable for a general audience.

3. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To learn which parts of the game are played and where players get stuck, the game sends a small number of game events to Google Analytics for Firebase, a Google service. For example: the tutorial was finished, a match or career was started or finished, a season ended, an ad was watched, a purchase was made (which item, never your payment details), the match tickets ran out, or the Daily Challenge was played.

With those events, Firebase collects:

Google keeps this information for up to 14 months and gives us reports about groups of players. These reports don't identify you, and we don't use analytics for advertising.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics only run if you agree to it in the consent message when the game starts, and you can change your choice at any time under PRIVACY OPTIONS. Elsewhere, analytics run when you play.

4. Google Play Games (optional)

The game can sign you in to Google Play Games. If you are signed in, Google Play Games uses your Play Games player ID and gamer name for:

This information is held by Google under Google's privacy policy. We don't receive your email address or your Google account details. You can sign out, change your profile's visibility, or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app or your Google Account settings.

5. Reminders

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your phone, at most one a day and never at night (for example, when your match tickets are back, or your daily reward is ready). They are created by the game on your phone; we don't send notifications from a server. You can turn reminders off in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.

6. Purchases (Google Play)

Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. The game only receives confirmation of what you have bought, so it can unlock it and restore it on a new phone. We never receive your card or payment details.

7. Sharing from the game

If you use photo mode or share a clip, the game creates the picture or video on your phone and hands it to the app you choose. We don't upload anything.

Bug reports: if you tap REPORT A PROBLEM, the game makes a report file on your phone. It contains your phone's model, Android version and screen size; the game's settings and saves (including any names you typed into the game); a record of what happened in the game in the last few minutes (screens, taps on the game's buttons and balls played, but never anything you typed except the optional note you add to the report); and a screenshot of the game. Nothing is sent automatically. The file goes only where you choose to send it, for example by email or a chat app, and we use it only to find and fix the problem.

8. Children

The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. What we receive

We don't run servers for the game, and we don't receive personal information from it, except a bug report you choose to send us (section 7). Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Play give us only summary reports, such as the number of ads shown, how many players finished the tutorial, earnings and purchases. These reports don't identify you.

10. Deleting your data

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
